It has no serious pest or disease problems and has been widely
grown and tested in commercial nursery production. Adaptable,
grows in soil types from sandy loams to heavy clays. Requires
little to no pruning. Evergreen screen or specimen plant for
parks or large landscape settings. A Conrad-Pyle introduction
that won the 1997 Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Gold medal
award. Plant is female and grows 15 to 20 feet tall by 3 to 5
feet wide. Excellent for use as screen, background or accent.
Withstands a wide variety of soils and growing conditions. Very
